Young Investigator Prize

ISSAID awards two Young Investigator Prizes to candidates in the early stages of their careers, within five to seven years of their first academic appointment, for outstanding original abstracts based on their overall quality and relevance.

Each prize consists of a certificate and a grant of EUR 1’500, which will be paid to the awardee by bank transfer after the meeting.

Awardees must present their abstracts in person to receive the grant. The certificates will be presented during the Opening Ceremony by ISSAID Society President Erkan Demirkaya and the Local Organisers, Helen Lachmann and Sinisa Savic.

Applications must be submitted as part of the abstract submission process. The application deadline is Wednesday, 16 December 2026, at 23:59 CET.
